45 Adapters - Collected Works Vol.1

Earlier this summer I mastered Collected Works Vol.1 for the long-running NYC rock band 45 Adapters. The album is a stockpile of demos and rare b-sides from the band’s archives. The initial release was CD and digital. Well, the vinyl is now out and it was worth the wait! A gorgeous double 10” with gatefold packaging and stunning color wax. Check out that marble, and the Mets inspired artwork. Looks as good as it sounds!

Collected Works Vol.1 was mastered at Telegraph and produced/mixed by Gerrard Lindsay at Pickabar Studios in New York. It’s out in the U.S. on Longshot Records and in Europe on Contra Music.

Congrats to Radiation City for being named the best new band in Portland for 2012! The ladies and gentlemen of Radiation City are among the most talented musicians and songwriters you will find anywhere. Every time you think, “Wow. They really nailed it,” they top themselves. Definitely one of those bands where the payoffs come big and often. Kudos guys and gals, we can’t wait to hear what’s next!

Telegraph mastered both Radiation City’s full length debut The Hands That Take You as well as the Cool Nightmare EP. Both releases were produced and mixed by Cameron Spies and Randy Bemrose.

On the Prowl was mastered at Telegraph and Produced/Mixed by Carl Fritscher at Acre Studios in New York.

Telegraph Mastering At The Record Store

Adam stopped by the Tender Loving Empire store-front and found a couple of gorgeous records mastered at Telegraph.

Brooke Parrott - Buried

Brooke Parrott

Look who Adam ran into at Make It Pop 2012, a fundraiser for PDX Pop Now. Why it’s Brooke Parrott (you may know her from Loch Lochmond) with an advance copy of her excellent solo EP Buried. Brooke and her trio performed a great set along with Matt Sheehy from Lost Lander and Luzelena Mendoza from Y La Bamba.

Buried
was mastered at Telegraph, Co-Produced by Brooke Parrott and Wesley Switzer, and mixed by Wesley Switzer with Asha Sukumar assisting. The official release date is June 1st, keep an ear out for it!

Spring Update - 2012

It has been a busy spring of working on great music at Telegraph.

Radiation City asked Adam to master their new EP Cool Nightmare. Cool Nightmare was produced and mixed by Cameron Spies and Randy Bemrose. It was released by Tender Loving Empire as a 10”, 320KBPS mp3, and on custom USB drives attached to the keys of a smashed piano. Seriously! Read More...
