Spring Update - 2012

It has been a busy spring of working on great music at Telegraph.

Radiation City asked Adam to master their new EP Cool Nightmare. Cool Nightmare was produced and mixed by Cameron Spies and Randy Bemrose. It was released by Tender Loving Empire as a 10”, 320KBPS mp3s, and on custom USB drives attached to the keys of a smashed piano. Seriously! Check out the video for Find it Of Use to watch the piano smashing. RC is one of Portland’s best bands, and this EP is outstanding! While you’re checking out Cool Nightmare, be sure to get their debut album The Hands That Take You, also mastered at Telegraph. The Hands That Take You has been lauded by MTV, Elle, Brooklyn Vegan, Paste, FuseTV, Prefix, and The L Magazine. One of last year’s best albums!

Hustle and Drone (featuring Ryan Neighbors of Portugal. The Man and Kirk Ohnstad of Hello Electric) sent their debut to Telegraph. The EP was produced by the band and mixed by the inimitable Paul Laxer. 3 of the songs are streaming here. They bring the beats!

Telegraph was chosen to master a new solo record by
Brooke Parrott of Loch Lochmond fame. The EP, Buried, was Co-Produced by Brooke Parrott and Wesley Switzer and mixed by Wesley Switzer with Asha Sukumar assisting. Buried will be released on June 1st on Ten ’til Six Records and Brooke is touring the West cost with a trio to support it. Her live show is excellent, check it out!

Bay area rock band
Nine Wives came to Telegraph for some final polish on their album Ghosts. Adam and lead singer Erik Spencer worked together last year one Spencer’s excellent solo acoustic record Double Life. Ghosts was produced and mixed by Dennis Kalligas and Migui Maloles (an old friend of Adam’s who works extensively with E-40). Will this album’s huge drums sounds and slick guitar rock your face off? Yes!

Huge congrats to Telegraph client
Elaine Faye whose songs Get Back Up and You Know were featured on VH1’s Mob Wives and Tough Love, as well as MTVs Jersey Shore. Nice one Elaine!

Speaking of TV, Telegraph clients
Wow and Flutter had their music used for HBO’s Boardwalk Empire. Telegraph had the sincere pleasure of mastering their new record Double Deuce. Double Deuce was recorded and mixed by Dave Fulton, and Produced by Dave and the band. The download-only release is available through iTunes or as a bonus download under the cap of the limited edition 22oz Wow and Flutter Imperial Ale! The beer is courtesy of Alameda Brewing and brewmaster Carsten Haney. You can’t beat an excellent rock record that comes with a great beer!

Telegraph also worked on projects this spring with
Aranya, 45 Adapters, Speed of Darkness, DJ Luna C, The Tomorrow People, Bremerton Dub Rockers, Proper Gander, NOISE, Adventures! With Might, Pocket Knife, Worth, and many more.

Spring has been great so far, can’t wait for summer!

OK, back to work...
