The new EP from Al Cisneros of Sleep and OM fame is out now on Drag City. As with everything Al does the music is patient, contemplative are eerily heartfelt. And of course the bass will shake your neighbors windows!

Incidentally, I love playing records I have cut back on the lathe. It's like closing the loop.

I cut on a fully restored Scully lathe (I call her Dana) with a customized Westrex 1700 cutting amplifier system. This exact lathe and system were used for decades at MCA Records cutting some of the iconic albums of the 20th century!
