Rituals of Shame, the new album from Warning, is out now.  Since Warning's last record in 2006, Watching From A Distance, vocalist and songwriter Patrick Walker has been focused on the massively acclaimed 40 Watt Sun. Now for the first time in 20 years Walker has written new music for Warning. Rituals of Shame takes Walker's signature inimitable vocals and frames them within songs that are both tense with spareness and crushingly dense, both thick and diaphanous. Eat More Possum, the massively influential album from ANTiSEEN, is available again now. When Eat More Possum was released in 1992 it had a detonating effect across the landscape of American underground music.  The self-described "Destructo Rock" blended the iconoclastic verve of punk, the earnestness of the MC5, and the theatrics of Alice Cooper. Famously the notes sent to mastering from the band and producer Jeff Dahl were ignored. Almost 35 years later, working from the original 1/4" reels and the ignored notes, Eat More Possum is available as it was always intended to be heard. Gran a copy and hear this classic again for the first time.
